Q. When is the Market?

 

The Cranbrook Farmer's Market runs from 10 am to 1 pm every Saturday from mid-May until late October.

​

Volunteer shifts are usually two hours long and volunteers can choose between Morning (7:30-10 am)  or Afternoon (12-2 pm).

 

Q. What do volunteers do?

​

Set-up Crew:

Hauling market gear, setting up barricades, assisting vendors with their tents, setting up the music tent.  Setting up signage. Running errands.

​

Must be physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs.

​

Customer Service & Hospitality:  

Assisting market patrons with questions at the CFM info booth. Taking payments on Square for our Market Token system. Helping patrons who require assistance with finding a vendor, or amenities such as the washrooms. 

​

Tear-down Crew:

​

Packing up and putting away market gear, info booth, and music tent. Assisting vendors with taking down their booths and loading them into their vehicles. 

Removing road barricades. 

​

Must be physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs.
